Second Scottish Independence Referendum
An assignment for Swedish Dagens Nyheter, together with journalist Erik de la Reguera we visited Kingussie in the week before the Scottish Parliament Holyrood were to vote on SNP’S Nicola Sturgeon’s plans for a second Scottish Independence Referendum.
Kingussie is a small town in the Scottish Highlands, it lies beside the A9 road as also the Ruthven Barracks that were built by George II’s government in the early 1700s, British troops stationed there were to maintain law and order.
We met with local business people, local residents and party members of the SNP & The Greens who all gave their view of the proposed second Scottish Independence Referendum.
