Peter Frankopan

A nice assignment for Dagens Nyheter to take the portraits of author Peter Frankopan in Oxford where he is a Professor of Global History at Oxford University and also a Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College.

Peter’s book (2012), The First Crusade: The Call from the East, was published to wide acclaim and was followed by (2015) with Timothy Venning, A Chronology of the Crusades and then his worldwide (2015) #1 2016 Bestseller The Silk Roads: A New History of the World.
Peter’s next book, Leviathan: Russia and The Making of the Modern World, will be published in the spring of 2019 by Bloomsbury in the UK.
