Jeremy Corbyn
On assignment for Helsingin Sanomat we travelled down to Southampton to meet Corbyn who is on his Labour Party leadership campaign trail. The Labour favourite hosted a rally and filled the 750 capacity hall at the Ageas Bowl.
Jeremy Corbyn may have entered the Labour leadership race as an outsider at 100/1, but he’s now the favourite to win with new odds of 1/5 beating the other candidates Andy Burnham at 9/2, Yvette Cooper 10/1 with Liz Kendall the new outsider at 100/1.
It was evident that he is enormously popular and many approached him after the rally to pledge their support.
