Scottish Independence Referendum 2014
I recently completed a 4 day trip travelling through Scotland for the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter together with their London correspondent Marianne Björklund. We visited Edinburgh, Glasgow, St Andrews, Stirling and the Scottish Highlands.
It was a very interesting trip, the purpose of which was to meet many Scots and to ask them about their opinion and how they would vote in the up and coming Scottish referendum on independence which will be held on Thursday 18th September 2014.
We met many Scottish people from all walks of life including the leader of the Better Together group Alistair Darling, amongst the many people we met we followed a volunteer door knocker for the Yes campaign on the Glasgow estates, we spoke with 2 families ‘Yes’ & ‘No’ in Edinburgh and we spoke with a bagpipe maker in Stirling.
