Rachel Cusk

On an assignment for Dagens Nyheter we travelled to the Norfolk coast to meet novelist & writer Rachel Cusk. The interview was in connection with Rachel’s Outline Trilogy with Outline 2014, Transit 2017 & Kudos 2018.

I took Rachel’s portraits in her garden and I felt that they worked quite well. I particularly liked the image of her sitting in a stool where I used the 3 bands of distinct horisontal lines: the sky, the wall & the stone flooring – all the colours worked well together as did the dramatic sky and quirkiness of the trees – it felt that it came together nicely.
