Our client LexisNexis had invited Rogue Trader Nick Leeson to a breakfast briefing.
It was very interesting to hear his talk about the events that led up to and after his fraudulent, unauthorised speculative trading which caused the spectacular collapse of Barings Bank, the United Kingdom’s oldest merchant bank, for which he was sentenced to prison. Nick Leeson is now a regular guest on the after-dinner and keynote speaking circuit.
