EU Referendum Clacton-on-Sea & Tooting London
This was an interesting assignment for Swedish Dagens Nyheter about how England is geographically split in its opinions on the forth coming EU Referendum – with just 1 week to go.
Firstly we travelled to Clacton-on-Sea the only constituency represented by a Ukip MP and where Euroscepticism is at a high. We asked views of voters we met up with walking along the sea-front and on the Pier.
Leaving Clacton-on-Sea we went back to London and visited the pro-European district of Tooting. It was a hive of activity with both the Vote Leave & Stronger In campaigns handing out leaflets around and near the Tooting Broadway Underground station. Jeremy Corbyn was also out door knocking with Labour candidate Rosena Allin-Khan in the Tooting by-election.
