Carnegie Library
As part of a larger story about library closures around Europe we visited Carnegie Library in Lambeth where campaigners for the Defend the 10 group had been occupying Carnegie Library since the 31st of March on the day it was closed by Lambeth Council for re-development.
The 10 day occupation ended on Saturday 9th April, and was followed by a 2000 strong march to Brixton via the also closed Minet Library.
