I photographed Anders Bouvin (CEO Handelsbanken London), at the Handelsbanken Head Office which lies in Wapping. Anders’s office has a wonderful commanding view over The River Thames, Tower Bridge and the nearly completed Shard Tower.
Etched on the glass doors to his office are the words “The Branch is the Bank” which is a testimonial to their values of traditional community banking based on close personal relationships with customers. Sweden’s Handelsbanken founded in 1871 now has over 100 branches around the UK.
