Corporate Headshots Shoreditch EC2 | Corporate Portraits
I recently completed on a very interesting creative assignment for Seren Design Consultancy and their client Visa Europe Colab.
The Visa Europe Collab website has now been launched.
The brief was to capture headshots & portraits of the 21 team members outdoors in Shoreditch where they have their offices. The images were to have backgrounds that incorporated both colour and textures … images with a ‘Shoreditch edge to them’. We also photographed the team whilst at work and in meetings at their offices.
Following a planing meeting we scouted some locations around Shorditch and then the photography took place over 3 separate visits. It worked well, I photographed groups of 3 people on shoots lasting 1 hour each and we used 3-4 different backgrounds on each shoot which gave plenty of variations for each person.
On the last days shoot having exhausted the previously scouted places I decided to take the last team members on a walkabout in Shoreditch to find new exciting backgrounds … it was surprisingly easy and 6 new locations were found in the side streets within a 100m of their offices.
I love this Shoreditch/Hoxton/Bricklane area of London – so much colour & diversity, so many influences. I love all the independent shops and food bars.
An old (2003) but interesting write up about Shoreditch can be found in an article from the Guardian’s Jess Cartner-Morley.
