Shakespeare 450th Birthday
This was a fun assignment taken recently to photograph the lead up of Shakespeare’s 450th Birthday Celebrations held in London & Stratford-upon-Avon.
We first met Shakespearean actor Ben Crystal and then visited the Globe Theatre in London before going to Stratford-upon-Avon where we visited Shakespeare’s birthplace, New Place & Nash’s House and his grave at the Holy Trinity Church where visitors are met by David, a knowledgeable and courteous volunteer.
As expected it was a full and interesting day, tat souvenirs sold in the official gift shop included rubber ducks “to make bath time more Shakespearean! To quack or not to quack”.
