Louise Voss and Mark Edwards
Last week we were was assigned by Amazon Publishing to take the portraits of authors Louise Voss & Mark Edwards. The photographs were taken at Amazon Publishing’s amazing new central London offices in The City of London at 60 Holborn Viaduct.
Louise’s first novel ‘To Be Someone’ was the first novel to come with its own soundtrack, it was followed by ‘Are You My Mother?’, ‘Lifesaver’, and ‘The Games People Play’.
Mark’s first solo novel ‘The Magpies’, topped the Kindle chart in the UK and was a top 5 bestseller in the US, Canada and Australia. ‘What You Wish For’ followed in March 2014 and ‘Because She Loves Me’ will be published in September 2014.
Louise & Mark have since 2011 published novels together ‘Catch your Death’ (a #1 bestseller in the UK) ‘Killing Cupid’, ‘All Fall Down’ and ‘Forward Slash’, their 5th novel ‘From The Cradle’ will be published in September 2014.
Louise & Mark were a pleasure to work with and the individual portraits and their portraits together went very well and the shoot lasted just 45 minutes. We took with us a mini studio and some chosen cloth backdrops, we used a slightly dramatic lighting with just 1 light source placed to the right.
