General Election 2017 – Labour Campaign
This was an interesting assignment for Dagens Nyheter that took us to Saltburn-by-the Sea, Guisborough and York.
In York Jeremy Corbyn gave a speech at the Innovation Centre where there was a lot of interest to meet him and not everyone could get into the full venue and had to listen from the outside by pressing their ears against a gap in the window. We met with Ukip supporters that gave their view on which way they would be voting. We also met with Corbyn supporters at a rally organised by by Momentum – a stones throw from where Theresa May & Jeremy Corbyn were taking part in a BBC Question Time special at the University of York.
